Grants Available for Georgia Small Business

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

Experience Works, a nonprofit organization, has funds available to help small businesses in Georgia grow by assisting them in the recruitment, training and employment of mature workers.

The program helps small businesses save recruitment time and money and training expenses by matching them with mature workers in the community who have completed occupational skills training for a variety of positions, including administrative, data entry, customer service, home health care, nursing and security.

Through the Experience Works Small Business Program, funds also are available to provide customized on-the-job training and ongoing support to newly hired employees.

Small businesses who want to learn more about the Experience Works Small Business Program can contact Linda Wiley at (912) 756-7620.
