Check this out!  Free Gas USA, Inc. is accepting applications for their gasoline grant program.  Grants range from $50 to $1,200 and applications are accepted throughout the year, and only one application is required for the year.  Applications must be submitted along with a letter from a church or other social service agency verifying your need.

Gasoline grants are awarded based on the level of need, as well as the amount of support that Free Gas USA, Inc. receives from donors, corporate sponsors and other funding resources.
