Watch out for this one! I just got an email and it almost looks legitimate since they are supposedly looking for a receivables clerk or bookkeeper. You don’t generally think of those types of jobs as lending themselves to scams. Unfortunately, con artists figure out a way around everything.

I must get a scam e-mail at least once per day. This one is awesome because apparently I managed to win a lottery that I didn’t even enter. It’s like MAGIC!!!! All my dreams are coming true! My favorites, as with most of these parasitic e-mails are the misspellings and general butchering of the English language.
Yay! Another scam e-mail came today. This is getting fun. I like how this idiot spelled his last name differently in the e-mail address vs. his opening sentence and closing signature. I have left all the original formatting intact. My favorite sentence includes the phrase “ready to be executed without hitches”. I always hope my executions are without hitches. Otherwise, it just makes a big mess and the stains are sssooooo hard to get out of the carpet. (more…)
Here’s another in the series of scam e-mails I receive. This is a gem – from Staff Sargeant Skye Heiker, and the email address is ssgt.skye.heikerss@usmarine.com. What was my first clue this was a scam? The URL usmarine.com is just a parked domain with a bunch of links on it. Good job guys.
