Scholarships for Teachers
Scholarships for teachers are available at the Sam Houston State University College of Education. The college is helping Head Start and childcare teachers continue their educational pursuit towards a bachelor’s degree. The grant provides recipients with $100 per course hour taken to assist students with tuition for one full year (summer or fall 2010 through summer 2011).
The application deadline is May 1 for the summer 2010 semester and June 15 for the fall 2010 semester. Students must also be accepted by the university.
