i am in need of $2,000 to claim my check from washington DC thats a whole lot of money sitting there to be awareded to i can furnish this mans phone number and email to verify this if needed just email me i really need the money to put in bank to buy a new car. badly i am on ssi and no job and disabled thanks so much and god bless

I hate to tell you this, but that is a scam. That person is going to take your $2,000 and never send you any money. These scams are pretty common, these jerks promise you a huge sum of money, but you have to send them an application fee or processing fee.
You might think it’s real because there is a person’s name, email or other supposedly identifying and “honest” information provided to make you feel comfortable. Sometimes, they might even contact you by phone to tell you you’ve been awarded this huge grant.
They prey on people who are on limited incomes because they know how badly those folks need the money.
DON’T FALL FOR IT!!
