Grant Requests
So you’ve searched through the posts here and can’t find the right program? Post a request for assistance using the “Grant Request” category, and I’ll do everything I can to find resources in your local area. I’m not sending you money though, so don’t ask 
I get tons of requests and I don’t have enough money to help everyone! This is the best I can do…..
So I can help you, please include the following information:
Your city, county and state. If you include these, it helps me find information for you. If you leave one or more of these out, don’t expect me to be a detective and search the entire nation for grants and programs on your behalf. Help me out with a few clues, OK?
What you need financial assistance for: Give me some background information. Do you need emergency cash, dental work, childcare, down payment money, foreclosure help, etc?
Your line of work: It also helps if you let me know what your job is (especially if you are a teacher, artist, police officer, current or ex-military). Some programs are specifically targeted toward certain occupations.
DO NOT post your personal contact information here. I’m just going to delete it anyway so the spammers and scammers don’t try to get you.
I’ll post a reply with the program information for you. I won’t email you directly with a special report or anything like that so don’t be looking for it. I’ll get you the information as soon as I can find it, but fair warning…..if you think I’m not getting back to you fast enough, and send me a nasty message….well, your request will get deleted. Just saying….

I am starting a buisiness and need a snow plow but have no money to get it and looking for a grant that does not have to be paid back. I plan on getting it from Lehman’s Cycle & Engine Service at 116 S. Crater Ave. Dover, Ohio 44622, which is a meyer dealer. The last price I got from there was $4390. I live in New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 – Tuscarawas County and currently no work.
Finding a grant for that is a little tricky, but I’ll give it my best shot! I’ve got to do some research and will get back asap with what I’ve found.
OK, here’s the scoop. There’s no way I can find a grant specifically for a snow plow. BUT I did find a couple resources for you for small business development and funding.
Contact the Ohio Department of Development – they have a division specifically for entrepreneurs (that’s you).
Also, there is a Ohio Entrepreneurship Expo happening on February 18th. I think it’s free and there should be a LOT of people there to help you.
