hi i posted a request earlier but have found out that too many scams in washington DC area and so i am canceling that request for that amount i asked for earlier. but am hearing impaired and did try finding a deaf advocacy to help with funding for me to go to israel since i am jewish they dont do that only for courts jails etc but thats it and marriages but not that kind of thing they suggested a grant to ask on there, so i thanked them so i am posting a request here for specific reasons
(1) i must be there in jerusalem israel in person to complete a interview in thier offices with Nefesh B nefesh which has programs for jews of all ages, and also (2) to visit the community in israel i want to move to (potential) area. (3) and to visit and explore language classes to take such as israeli sign language and hebrew. (4) also job placement opportunity. i am good with kids and handicap and the deaf and good at other things,israel needs someone like me.they explained the requirements for potential immigrants to israel that we must take what is called a pilot trip program where we fly to israel and stay for two weeks and meet with key people there this is the most important thing for me for my religious status because thousands of jews are still going home to the homeland as many have heard about it on CNN news and etc when it began that jews have been in exile for more than 2,000 years and i am wanting to be able to take that trip to israel so i can map out my plan and we are leaving for charter flight for this summer 2010 thats when we all finally move home first the two two week trip and then come back here to usa on return and pack up and be ready to leave this summer in july around that time or august of 2010 i am asking for approx, $2,500 no more than that for this. this is the most i want to be able to do this now. to make that dream really come true for me.and be able to thank those who are willing to help me with this and make it a real reality come true for me i hope someone can help since advocacy places dont do these kind of things i have spoken to one of them in NC they dont assist with this kind of thing they do counseling for marriages problems at home and etc but not for religious or immigrations or anything like that i look forward to hearing back very soon god bless and keep you all safe

Thanks for emailing me on this. Most of what I have found is for students to travel to Israel. I did find out that Nefesh B’ Nefesh has a financial aid program and you can apply online. The next deadline is March 11.

Thank you for your follow up emails. I have not been able to find anything specifically for your situation. I’ve contacted an association that works with deaf Jewish and I’m hoping they know of assistance programs for the pilot trip. I have not heard back from them yet, but I’ll let you know as soon as I do.
