Adoption Assistance Grants

A Child Waits provides financial assistance to individuals adopting foreign-born children. They also provide support for adoption, adoption funding, international adoption and child welfare.  The foundation does provide grants to individuals.

See foundation Web site for application guidelines and forms. A child must meet special needs criteria, and adoptive family must meet financial criteria. Applicants should submit the following:
1) statement of problem project will address
2) detailed description of project and amount of funding requested
There is no application deadline.  The board meets weekly and applicants receive final notice 2-4 weeks after review.
