Grants for Tattoo Removal
Friday, November 27th, 2009I noticed that a lot of people come here using the search term “grants for tattoo removal”. Actually, I was surprised that there are grants or assistance for this. I found information for Texas, and will start looking into the other states as well.
Here’s the basic information behind the Texas tattoo removal program:
In 1999, the Office of the Attorney General received a grant from the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division to help start-up tattoo removal programs around the state. The programs provide free or low cost tattoo removal depending on eligibility criteria. The grant provided for the purchase of equipment and general start-up medical supplies. Each program is locally run, therefore check with each program to determine their specific eligibility criteria.
Go to the Attorney General website for detailed information on the geographic areas with these programs, phone numbers and contact information.
