Tennis Grants

The United States Tennis Association is accepting grant applications.

The objectives of the Multicultural Individual Player Grant for National Competition & Training are to:
*  Provide funding to competitive junior players who have achieved national and/or international rankings.
*  Assure the careful nurturing of young minority players who may be candidates for USTA Elite Player Development Programs.
*  Funding will be based on the success level of the player in the previous year (e.g., end of year USTA ranking list/performance).
*  Must be training and competing in tournaments year round.
*  Have a history of strong national tournament results.

Grant amounts range from $1,500 to $10,000.  The next application deadline is January 15, 2010.
