family assistance programThere is a family assistance program available through Alzheimer’s Arkansas grant program.  This assistance program provides grants to caregivers of persons living with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia.

Grants can be used to pay for in home care; adult day care; a temporary, short-term care in a nursing home or assisted living facility; home care supplies such as diapers, pads and Ensure or Boost; home modifications, such as grab bars or wheelchair ramps; legal services; or mental health counseling.  The grant may NOT be used for such things as medications, utility bills or home repairs.
