Help With Medical Expenses

Patient Services Incorporated is a nonprofit foundation providing assistance for insurance premium and/or co-payments.   PSI is an advocate for people with expensive chronic illnesses.  The organization’s assistance programs include a variety of services, which can be customized to a patient’s particular needs.

Premium Assistance Program

• COBRA Payments
• High-risk Pool Payments
• Open-Enrollment Payments
• Guaranteed Issue Payments
• Full Assistance or Share-of-Cost
• Co-payment Assistance Program
• Spend Down Assistance

Incidental Medical Expense Program

PSI’s Incidental Medical Expense programs (IME) offer financial assistance for specific services not included in our premium, copay or waiver programs. The IME programs run on a calendar year and have an annual maximum benefit.  Examples of expenses covered in PSI’s IME programs may include:

• Assistance with Medical Evaluation Testing
• Assisted Devices
• Transportation and lodging

• Bleeding Disorders with Inhibitors
