Small Grants for Kidney Patients

Monday, October 26th, 2009

The Kidney & Urology Foundation of America’s (KUFA) Patient Emergency Grant (PEG) provides financial assistance to End Stage Renal Disease patients.  Grants are limited to $100 per patient, per year.Assistance is provided for emergency situations only, and not for chronic or recurrent conditions.  For example, they will consider a request for a patient who has broken his/her glasses and needs to replace them.

Applications must go through your Social Worker and will not be faxed directly to patients.  The Social Worker should be prepared to justify the requested amount (up to $100).
