Downpayment Assistance
Meramec Regional Planning Commission is offering down payment and closing cost assistance, up to $4,000 for homes in the City of Cuba, Missouri to first-time, income-eligible homebuyers who are credit-worthy and can secure financing.
The house shown here has an asking price of $63,000 which is about a $475 monthly payment – cheaper than rent!
Based on the county you live in and the number of people in your home, your total household income must be at or below the guidelines on their website.
Since this program is geared toward first time buyers, don’t forget about the $8,000 tax credit available from the federal government as well!
