Home Repair Emergency Grant

King County, Washington has an emergency grant program for home repairs.  This program provides grants for up to $3,000 for urgent or life-threatening home repairs. Emergency grants are not loans and do not have to be repaid.

Eligibility

Eligible homeowners are those who:

• Own and live in the home they want to repair
• Live in King County, outside the city limits of the City of Seattle and Normandy Park
• Have an eligible household income level
• Do not have assets that exceed $15,000, not counting the value of your home or vehicle
