The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority offers assistance and services to homeowners facing foreclosure. They administrate an Emergency Mortgage Payment Assistance program. This program provides financial assistance for up to five years (wow!) for Connecticut homeowners who have received a foreclosure notice.
