As someone who has a septic system, I’m always interested in upgrades and improvements. Having that thing lurking underground behind my house just makes me nervous. Anyway,the Maryland Department of the Environment is offering septic system upgrades to nitrogen removing Best Available Technology (BAT). They are taking names for a temporary waiting list. There are also 13 counties in Maryland which offer their own septic upgrade program.
Along with the geothermal pump grant program, Maryland is accepting applications for their solar energy grant program.

Community Development Administration (CDA) offers three standard downpayment and closing cost assistance products for any borrower who is eligible for a Maryland Mortgage Program loan.
