Neighborhood Grants Available

The Small Sparks Fund provides awards up to $1,000 to support community members in becoming civically engaged. Projects can include neighborhood organizing, membership expansion or numerous other types of activities. All projects must demonstrate its capacity to build a stronger and healthier community, and must:
King County, Washington has an emergency grant program for home repairs. This program provides grants for up to $3,000 for urgent or life-threatening home repairs. Emergency grants are not loans and do not have to be repaid. (more…)
The purpose of this program is to support emerging documentary filmmakers. The term “emerging” is intended to denote a person committed to the craft of making documentaries, who has demonstrated that commitment by several years.
Children’s Wishes and Dreams grants wishes to children with life-threatening illness or a severe life-altering injury. Wishes can vary from trips, computers special exercise equipment, etc.
