Small Business Grant for Women
Webmomz and their sponsors have announced that they are giving away a $500 to one new aspiring woman business owner. Webmomz feels strongly about helping women who are wanting to start their own business, but may not have the money to make it happen! They teamed up with the sponsors below to help one aspiring business woman make her business dreams come true. This appears to be a yearly grant as long as funding is available.
Soroptimist International of Saratoga County is accepting applications for The Women’s Opportunity Award. This award provides women who serve as the primary wage earners for their families with the financial resources to offset costs associated with their efforts to attain higher education or additional skills and training.
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) offers various grant programs for women. Currently, they are accepting applications for their Career Development Grant Program. These grants support women who hold a bachelor’s degree and are preparing to advance their careers, change careers, or re-enter the work force. Special consideration is given to women of color, and women pursuing their first advanced degree or credentials in nontraditional fields.
