Free Legal Help

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

And yet another excellent resource – who knew?  Bay Area Legal Aid provides free legal help for low-income people.  They can help with issues relating to housing, domestic violence, public benefits and health care access.  Legal assistance is available to low-income people who live in the Bay Area counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.

Bay Area Legal Aid’s attorneys and paralegals help people with civil legal problems. They don’t help with criminal matters though, so try to keep yourself out of trouble :)
